Week 21
Week 20

I started doing triathlons because I wanted to do something that kept me active and competitive. I played football in High School and maintained a decent weight, but after it was done, I packed the weight on. I tried diets and working out, but I could never stick to anything consistently. Once I signed up for my first Triathlon, I found it a lot more easy to stick to my workout when I had an event planned. So here I am now. After I did my first Triathlon, I was hooked. Since then, I have competed in a few more triathlons, lost over 65 lbs, and I have done a half Ironman and a full Ironman this last year. My health has made a total 180 and I feel great!

ok. If you are open to ideas, in 2007 two weeks before Oceanside 70.3 I blew out my knea. The pain was actually defered from my lower back. I went to a Holistic Chiropractor and an Acupuncturist. They did their voodoo stuff and it worked for me. Since then I have gone to a physical therapist and he stretched my lower back, and fixed the problem. I felt like the Chiro was a temp fix, and the acupunture was just expensive.
For your cold try an herb, HAS. it seems to help pretty good. Good luck man.
Cool blog, just found it. hope you do well in the race. Get some ART and Graston with some deep massages on your ITB and knee area and maybe even your calf is to tight, all these will pull on your knee. Should hurt like hell but should help as well.
oh yeah and get it taped up before the race, should help.
see you there :)
Thanks guys will look into it. The knee is feeling better! See you May 7th and thats for the visit.
