I started doing triathlons because I wanted to do something that kept me active and competitive. I played football in High School and maintained a decent weight, but after it was done, I packed the weight on. I tried diets and working out, but I could never stick to anything consistently. Once I signed up for my first Triathlon, I found it a lot more easy to stick to my workout when I had an event planned. So here I am now. After I did my first Triathlon, I was hooked. Since then, I have competed in a few more triathlons, lost over 65 lbs, and I have done a half Ironman and a full Ironman this last year. My health has made a total 180 and I feel great!

Ouch...that burn looks brutal! Well worth it though. Nice job down there, all that training is starting to pay some dividends.
30 days to go!
Good Show. You are making me jealious with all your trips and training in St George. Ya, you are definately in a different league then me. I am just looking at improving upon my time from last year, (which won't be hard). Are you going to qualify this year?
I wish! No. Thanks.
