It's official I have registered for the 2011 St. George Ironman.
I have one goal... Finish!
I started doing triathlons because I wanted to do something that kept me active and competitive. I played football in High School and maintained a decent weight, but after it was done, I packed the weight on. I tried diets and working out, but I could never stick to anything consistently. Once I signed up for my first Triathlon, I found it a lot more easy to stick to my workout when I had an event planned. So here I am now. After I did my first Triathlon, I was hooked. Since then, I have competed in a few more triathlons, lost over 65 lbs, and I have done a half Ironman and a full Ironman this last year. My health has made a total 180 and I feel great!

Congrats! IMSG was the most rewarding day of my 11 year triathlon career. Train smart, learn how to nail your nutrition, and train on the course and keep that goal in mind of simply finishing, and you'll have a blast!
Oh and to introduce myself so you don't think I'm a random stalker, this is Leslie from PowerTri. We talked at the Shark Attack tri I believe as I was cheering for my husband. I stumbled on your blog doing a google search for Rockcliff.
Great job with your blog!
I found your site while searching for the St. George Ironman countdown clock. I'll be there in 2011. Thanks for posting the 5 minute video about Ironman St. George. Good stuff. Now I have a real idea of what this course will be like.
